I had another litter. Surprise! Oyeme (oh yeah may)
is only about two months old...I did not think that
they were able to have babies until they were three or
four months old. But she got pregnant by Carino, who
is only three months old and the one I hand feed for
two weeks after his mother died. Anyway, they had two
babies on 3-13 and all are doing fine.
In all of the babies that I have had in the past few
weeks (4 litters/21 babies) i have only lost one so
far. I expected that I would lose one or two out of
the litter in which there was eight, but not a one has
been neglected for food and they are all doing just
fine and VERY healthy. This is the biggest litter
that I have had in the six years that I have been
breeding. I am still amazed at how many were born let
alone the fact that none have died so far! Thanking
God for my luck.
