Hi. I use Outlook Express and here is how to set it to send plain text: In upper left hand corner, right-click on "tools". Then right-click on "options" and find the "send" tab. Right-click on that and go down near the bottom to "mail sending format", click on "plain text". Also, in the same "send" box, un-check the box that is next to "reply to messages using the format in which they were sent". That`s it! Hope this helps, I`m not great at giving directions! ~Deb
