This morning at about 7:30 I found one pup in the tank with Blossom (very exciting for
us, as it is her/our first
gerbil litter). She was moving it around in her mouth/paws and it was squeaking. I
did not see any others in the
tank, so I turned down the lights, shooed out the other pets and am leaving her alone,
to reduce her stress level
and let her instincts kick-in.
Is it possible that she is having her babies now? Or are they always born at night?
My daughter when she got up at 6:30 did not see any babies and briefly held Blossom ,
who she said felt "lumpy".
Any replies would be very much appreciated...
