Blossom doesn't look plump anymore and it's been six hours so I'm guessing she's through with the labor.
PS -- In response to a question about the father's reaction, we took him out Friday night and are introducing him to another gerbil. We want to start slow and limit the breeding, at least until we see how the gerbil-market is in this area and how many tanks/gerbils we can handle ourselves.

First things first, Congrats on your first/new litter! In response to your question, she is in labor right now. It could take her a few hours to have all the babies, probably around 5 or 6. They are not always born at night, out say 10 litters, half will be born in the morning/ late afternoon. Now the hard part: the clan name! Good luck with the pups!Email if any questions remain unsolved, I'm only 13 but have been breeding for some time,
Nick
