HI! I know ive been missing from the list for a while- we had a hectic past
month!

We have a rat and mouse club with magazine and theres a section in it calle
d "all in the family" about related species (particularily other Myomorphs)
of rodents. Last issue we featured egyptian spiny mice (Yes the title of
the section is a bad pun!). Gerbils and Jirds would fit in the section too
and I wanted to know if anyone here wanted to write about gerbils and/or
Jirds? We cover the basics of the species- for example, the spiny mouse
article covered general appearance, natural habitat, caution about "break
away tails", where to obtain pets, feeding/diet, caging, and breeding facts.
Of course if you want to write about gerbils you can cover other topics
too if you like, liek current colour varieties or shows. This invitation
for articles is open to anyone, but I also though that those of you who are
involved with clubs might find it good publicity for your clubs since many
pet rodent fanciers keep more then 1 species, so you may find soem new
fanciers this way.

Article can be anythign from 1 page to several pages- what ever is necissary
for you to write a good article. You can ad pictures/photos if you like.

The deadline for the next issue is april 30th but theres more issues after
that too ;-)
Club is "Rat and Mouse Fanciers for Excellence" magazine is calle d"Rat and
Mouse fancy report". Sample issue is onlin at www.rodentfancy.com then
click on the international RMFE club, then on magazine, then on Samples and
Backissues. The club is USA based but we have soem european members.

We cant offer payment for articles, but its good publicity for the gerbil
fancy and we can send you a copy of the magazine so you can cherish your
name in print :)

You retain ownership of your article but in sending us an article, you grant
us permission to print it in our magazine and on our website as needed.
Full credit will of course be noted on your article.
