Hello. After the next litter which will be in May, i'm not going to be breeding my gerbils anymore, since i will have my license and a job, i'm not going to have much time, to be finding homes for them and properly giving the babies the attention that they need. So, i'm going to keep the whole litter, i'm going to keep all the males with the daddy and all the females with the mommy. My question is, should I just put one male with daddy and one female with mommy and then pair the rest in 2's like two brothers together and two sisters together and so on? I've never had a problem with a group of females or a group of males, so do you think i should just try it and keep a close eye on them, if so.. about what age should i be whatching them more carefully at for fighting?
