Thank you so much to all of you who wrote to the list (or to me) about little "Joey" who went from a golden furred babe to a darker juvenile. His belly is still white (but not as white as our Argente Cream) and he's darker, but still more gold than the agouti. I see that a baby can change color even after 6 week-old, when they could go to a new "slave." He's ours, we love him, but a new owner may have wanted a DEH. Once again, you all have been so very helpful and supportive in the caring of our gerbil family. :) Sunflower Seeds for all~~ Conni
