It was sunday night about a month ago . We were watching our Gerbs playing
and suddenly we noticed that oune of Maggie's nails was kind of "pulled
up" , but not exactly broken . We didn't know what to do . We were afraid to
cut it with nail clipper and it was Sunday so we couldn't go to vet . So
... we waited .
After a few moments she sat down started doing something with her paw and
squeeking . We could hardly beliueve - she cut the whole nail off with her
teeth .
There was small drop of blood ... We didn't want to put alcohol on it
...aquarium was clean , and she continued digging like nothing happened .
A few days after the new nail appeared and now I can barely recognize it
among the other of her nails . Funny isn't it ! Mother nature does a lot
for us and our little pets ,
sometimes panic can just make things worse !
