Hello! Have any of you kept a trio of brothers, or sisters together
successfully. If so, what would be the minimum size cage. My daughter and
I were so excited about Gerbils that we ordered quite a few. We only want
to keep three breeding pairs and house the rest of the cuties in same sex
pairs or trios.
Originally we were planning to donate some of our babies to schools. I'm an
education major in college so I know allot of teachers. But, after going to
different schools to do some required observations yesterday I changed my
mind. It seems that the elementary schools I went to take great care of
their pets! However, the middle and high schools that I went to had
neglected pets. I even found a dead hamster in one school which no one had
noticed. How could they have missed the odor!
Anyways, I'm not saying that ALL schools neglect their pets but it would be
a good idea to check it out before you donate one of your precious babies to
a school.
