Spotted Slate

Hi Everyone,

This morning we picked a new pair of breeding Gerbils (We pass on Gerbils
and regularly introuduce new stocks to offset inbreeding) and the male is a
spotted slate.  We do not see many spotted Gerbils in this part of the
woods - though others in the UK have these Gerbils regularly.

We are quite excited about the prospects of pups from this male and his
agouti female.  Even after all these years, every time we get some new
Gerbils it fills me with fresh enthusiasm and expectation.  Will keep you
posted.
