Thank you for your email. Up until the early 1980's we had been caring for
Gerbils since about 1970/71 (around that time anyway) and I am unsure for
how much of that period we gave them things like luncheon meat - it is such
a long time ago. I personally remember vividly the time when everything
went pear shaped...
