Thank you so very much for your email and for your kind remarks. It is
certainly all go on the site at the moment. Being a small group we are
certainly at it full time - with the whole site being redesigned with
improved graphics, more Gerbil related features and a brand new "Books
Section" is in the pipeline including books for Gerbils, Rats, Hamsters and
even Dogs and Cats.
We are upgrading our hardware equipment, including a brand new dedicated
video PC, Miro Video Editing Kit and digital telephone lines. Software has
been obtained to give the site a new cutting edge look, including
Macromedia - Dreamweaver, Fireworks and Flash, Ultimate Bulletin Board and
True Tech Professional Web Cam.
With the help of Amy Hicks we are designing a "Gerbil Health" section that
will address the different parts of a Gerbil and the health issues facing
that area. Add to this "The Web Cam", the "GERBILS - Community" and the
"Virtual Enclosure" you can understand what we mean when we say 'all hands
to the pump'.
But, we are dedicated to promoting Gerbils and providing a first rate
resource for Gerbil carers - of all age groups - in all parts of the world.
Sometimes it is easy to feel very alone, with only limited support here in
England, but emails like yours help us to move ahead with renewed passion!!
