off topic -- mole

I know some people on the list are wild life specialists...
My sister's cat brought in a baby mole (about 2") it is furred with eyes
open (adult moles are 4-7").  Should she just release it?  I read on a
web-site that without the proper nutrician a mole will die within
several hours, so write back quick!  Thanks,  Donna
