I have to take just a second to brag on my Pookie-boy ... he's been sooo good about all this treatment for his paw, yeah he nipped me once but it was just basically scraping his teeth across my finger to express his dislike. Through all this he has not bitten me, my husband, or the vet. Now how many small animals would put up with poking and prodding during two vet visits, medicine shot in their mouths, and warm salt water baths for their foot (mind you he HATES water with a passion) without sinking their teeth into the perpetrator??
