Hi there
I'm new on the list and recently got 2 male gerbils, Caffeine and
Cocaine. When I brought them home I discovered that Caffeine was missing
both front paws. The skin has grown over the area, and he just has stumps,
but he manages quite well so it's obviously a birth defect.
I recently had to change the bedding to compost because Caffeine's nose
was getting really sore.
Can anyone think of something other than sand for him to bathe in,
is there anything less abrasive?
