Hi everyone Im new here and I would like to introduce my self. Im a
college student and thought having a gerbil would be fun. Well I bought a
brown female and named her Belle during thanksgiving break. When I went
home for xmass I discovered a litter. Let me tell you all I have never been
responsible for bringing up babies before and as far as I knew this was her
first litter. There were 7 babies, they were so cool. I was so nervous
because my whole break was determined in just a week. If she didnt take
care of them I was ready to bring them up on my own. Well all is well there
were four brown three male one female, two black one make and one female,
and this one with really light brown fur and red eyes which is a female.
What is that called is it albino, when she was a baby her skin was white and
as she gets older it gets more light brown. The males are at home with my
dad in fish tank and seem to love it, and a female is in another tank. Mom
and two female babies are here with me in a wire cage. Watching them grow
up has been so fun.
