Hello,
this morning i wake up and did the normal gerbil check. And I could not
find "Stuffy" my Yellow Fox male (He is with is brother Demi a Grey
Agouti) I picked up there log and he was under it. And very cold but not
dead. I tried to warm him with a heating pad but he never made it.:-( My
question is what was it? His whole body was like sucked up in side him.
And he had a little bit of blood on his gums?! And very clammy. And
floppy. They can barley hold there head up. For those of you who
remember about 2/3 weeks ago I had 2 other gerbils (not in the same
cage) get very cold but i caught them before it was to late and warmed
them up and they are just fine. I also have a loan female that was at
the very first stages. (clammy and weak) But she is fine now. I would
really like you know what this is does anyone have any clue?
