Cute behavior

Speaking of cute behavior (as I did in my last message):  yesterday I
walked into the living room, where we keep the gerbils, for something.
When I went in, Sam ran to the side of the tank, hopped up on an oatmeal
box we have in there, and bobbed up and down.  If he could have talked he
couldn't have said any plainer, "Pick me up, Momma!  Pick me up!"  So of
course I picked him up.  8-)  At least I thought it was cute.
