It is impossible to tell. All you can do is pick a gerbil with a lot of
known recessives, for example a Silver nutmeg, and hope for the best.
As for genetics sites, modesty prevents me from suggesting anywhere. But
I hope the URL in my .sig will prove a good starting point! ;-)
