I don't know if I can help you much, but here is what I have to offer for
now. I hope you get some more answers on this.
put some neosporin on the wound and it should heal fine. The gerbil won't
dislike your friend. I don't think a gerbil can identify who did it and
assume that it was do intentionally. They don't have that kind of thought
process. Just let the gerbil get some rest for a while in her cage and she
will be fine.

hi. my gerbil got out of his cage and when my friend and i were trying to

him we acidently rip a part of his tail off :(. will he be ok? and will the
female still be his "friend" and not hurt him. what should i do. someone
