A year or two ago, gerbil stamps were mentioned on the list. Did
anything come about?
The stamp was one of a US series of characterisations of pet animals.
The picture may be a gerbil, but looked very like a hamster to me.

Yes I remember this, but I also remember something about trying to get
the country of Mongolia to issue a gerbil stamp. If i recall correctly.
Perhaps, David Hinsley or Julian remembers?
