I heard about a similar case recently, I even saw some pictures ! The baby
gerb was quite ugly but *very* cute actually. It had happened before to its
owner. The fur eventually grows in, and the gerbs look just like the others
in the long run. Just make sure you keep it at a constant temperature, as
without fur it will be more sensitive to variations.
