First of all, remove all the females which are not nursing and place them in
their own homes. They are known to steal pups and/or eat them and, they will
eventually begin to fight with each other. Two females can be kept together
in peace, but no more than that. Also, only one breeding female per cage
please!
It is possible to keep a group of more than two males together. They are not
as territorial as females. It would be considerate of the females if they
had only one male to contend with. This would also make it easier for you to
tell who the father is of the resulting pups, as well as keeping track of
genetics.
