I do know that most humans in labor do not like to stay still. They feel
a lot more comfortable moving around or working, so it could be the same
for gerbils. Jo-Jo may know she's in labor and is preparing for pups. In
labor females will still act the same and come to you and such, but they
just may look like balloons bouncing around the cage *g*

Right now Hanna if madly digging at a corner of their tank. (this is unusual for her. She does some digging, but not like this.) Jo-Jo is in the nest ripping and shredding tissue. Is this a normal sign of early labor? She still is coming to see me everytime I look in. And she did take the sunflower seeds that I offered her earlier this morning Janet & ElizabethMountain Ash |
