Hi ! Our young pair (3,5 months old) eaten everything from their food bowl on daily basis, but now their food last for a few days (they eat only some sorts of seeds (before they've eaten everything)) . Is it because of heat (over 35 deg. Celsius) or gerbils at some age start to eat less (our older gerbil doesn't eat much too but for a long time now). On the other hand they eat almost everything given to them by hand (from their food bowl). Should we leave them to eat how much they want or shall we continue to feed tham by hand ? Thanks !
