AHHH. . . I see. I'm guessing that a tumor that popped up that quickly
is a pretty "aggressive" tumor.
My husband called our former vet, who hasn't actually seen Barley yet.
The only feedback he gave me was that the surgery would be "very
expensive." I don't know what that means! I was assuming it would be a
couple hundred $$. I wouldn't consider that an obstacle.
BUT, if the tumor is likely to recur, it seems better to avoid putting
him thru the trauma of the surgery, which might buy him a couple of
months. . . <sigh>
I'll continue to investigate the possibility of surgery, but at the
moment I'm leaning towards keeping Barley happy for the time he has
left. :*(
