It is typical for a gerbil to go longer than 28 days when she has a large
litter. Typically after having a large litter, the next litter will have
less pups, but this is not always the case. I wouldn't worry about it for at
least until Saturday when the last litter is 5 weeks old.

It is also common for a gerbil to miss a month at having a litter. I think
it's kind of mother natures way of giving her a break.
