It was age about 6 weeks. She gave birth to 6 healthy pups on her own
10-week birthday.
GML experts explained away my shock about how that happened. It was
because she was living with her father, an experienced male, which altered
her hormonal development.
I figure that was like a human female becoming a mother at age 6-8.
Moral: Do NOT underestimate gerbil creativity about procreation.
