Hi everyone,
Hope this finds yall doing well. I am coming out of lurk mode because i am
not sure if one of my gerbils is hurt badly.
She escaped sometime before i got up this morning, We didnt see her at all.
I had put food and a toilet paper roll on the floor to try to tempt her out.
Well she showed up late this evening. We tried and tried to catch her. She
ran and ran. I know this put her under stress.My husband finally caught
her. I put her in a ball i keep for them. She was rolling over and over
and over. I figured she was having a seizure.i sat
holding this ball and watching her feeling really helpless. She quite then
seemed to go to sleep. then she came out of it little by little but she
started to go around in circles. i sware she should of been dizzy, my
question is this normal after a seizure or is she in trouble. I am not even
sure if i should pick her up . I dont want to stress her out any more. My
husband thinks she has brain damage though i dont see how as she didnt hit
her head. I know yall will be able to help me so please email as soon as
you can.
