Hi Everyone,

This morning I received a phone call from a lady asking me for my advice.

She has a male about 2.5 years old. She says his scent gland looks rough and
bleeding. She says there is no lump and it doesn't look infected. She talked
to our local vet and they didn't know what to do, that's why she called me.

I asked her about the gerbils nose and eyes, she said there is some red
discharge. I mentioned to her to put a tiny bit of neosporin on the scent
gland and try ornacycline. She beds him on corn cob and aspen.

Does any one else have an suggestions for this lady?

Thanks,
