I ran into a young female yesterday that I JUST *HAD TO* smuggle
home from the petstore. :)

She is self-colored, same color from skin to tip of hair; belly is a
little lighter (less than a shade) and same basic color.

She looks silvery tan to me; there is a note of tan to her greyish
appearance. I'd call it ash grey (cool grey and that tan brown
note). She's rather light in color.

Her eyes are red, her nails are 'clear' (not grey or brown or black),
sort of translucent and about the same shade as her to lighter.
The skin looks 'pink' (I think, parting hair wasn't easy; it certainly
isn't dark)

Is this silver (aka Dove)? or would it be a darker shade?
That beige-y tan tone to her is what is throwing me. It is
*not* a yellow or orange or red tone, it is 'cool' brown; in
human hair color, it is almost what they'd call 'ash' in
blonde shades.

She looks to be 6-8 weeks old. Very curious, and quite calm
about sitting in the hand once picked up.

I can't get a good idea of what 'sapphire' would be as I have a
pretty cr*ppy monitor from ancient years on this system; so
hence the color ID problem [Still more incentive for me to finish
the floss-color-matching-project]

If anyone can give me more advice, I'd appreciate it, thanks.
