The reason they are smaller is because there were soooo many...Hanna
only had 3, correct? My little girl Alyssa regularly has big litters, and
does very well with them..she's lost a few, though. Is this Shushan's first
litter?? Give her some extra food, and just watch. Hopefully they'll be
fine, and if not maybe she will do better the next time. First litters can
be very stressful and the mom might not be so sure of what to do with so
many pups, although both Alyssa and Phoebe both had 8 in their first litter,
and all 8 pups were healthy. How long have you had Shushan? I'm always in
the litter as soon as I see them, and Alyssa just watches me. In fact, i was
playing with 10 minute old pups just this morning. :) ~Tasha~
