I have had 4 litters so far, from 3 different breeding pairs. Pair#1 - litter of 6, then a litter of 7 Pair#2 - litter of 5 Pair#3 - litter of 4 I feel very fortunate because I've had NO pup losses from any of these litters (a total of 22 pups). However, although I feel that we should do all we can to save pups, I also feel that if they do die there is probably an inevitable reason for it...such as a birth defect. By the way....all 22 of these pups are available for adoption. There are: 3 DEH females born 5/20/00. Ready to go NOW. 3 DEH males born 5/20/00. Ready to go NOW. 3 Black females born 6/10/00. 2 Black males born 6/10/00. 2 DEH females born 6/17/00. 2 DEH males born 6/17/00. 7 DEH pups born 6/27/00. Sexes unknown yet.
