Hanna's pups are now four days short of being five weeks old, and they are
all three females.
I have seen Jo-Jo showing what I would classify as sexual interest in
them. Will the father mate with his daughter, while he is still living
with Hanna? I do not want the young pups to end up pregnant.

The fertile period for gerbils normally starts at 10 to 12 weeks and ends
at 18 to 24 months. However, a young female with a sexually mature male
will sometimes come into estrus sooner than normal."
The second sentence is why you may wish to separate Jo-Jo and his
daughters. GML explained that's what happened when one of my youngsters
had 7 healthy pups on her 10-weeks birthday -- meaning she was about 6
weeks when she conceived.
