On the first one sounds like a nutmeg.  I have two of these one 8 months
and one is 10 weeks.  I think they go through a major molt from orange
to ticked (I don't know how long that takes, but I have one now that's
been going through it for a week -- pretty rapidly -- and is ticked on
about 50% of his body (he is a late molter, usually this happens before
10 weeks, I believe.  Then they go through a more subtle molting for the
next few months, where the appearance gets more "smoothed out".
