My best wishes for little Barley. If he's not in pain and can eat, I agree
with your plan.

Subject: Sinking fast. . .
My little Barley won't last much longer, I'm afraid.
His tumor is almost as large as his head now. Apparently it's pressing
on his spinal cord also, b/c his back legs don't seem to be working
well.
On the plus side, he's still eating and can move about fairly well
despite the impaired back legs. He can still climb up to my shoulder.
He's impaired, but I think he still has some life left in him. I don't
want to deprive him of the little time he has left. It's hard to know
what to do. . . but if I were terminal, I would want to live the rest
of my life to the fullest, even if I were impaired.
He doesn't seem to be in pain. He still has that gleam in his eye.
Barley's pal Pippin seems sad and bewildered. Pippin fusses over
Barley; it's really sweet.
I got some good tips here when Barley's tumor first appeared, so I
wanted to post an update. Even tho it's a sad one. :*(
