Over the weekend a GML man posted about his distress over the death of his
gerbil. Several of us
emailed him to offer immediate support.
On Monday I received an email from him that was far too personal. It
asked if I would like to be his special friend. I didn't sense any grief
from him about his gerbil.
I looked at his webpage, which is just an advertisement of himself in
order to meet women. I decided I do not want to be his special friend.
He might be perfectly legitimate and a very sensitive soul, but at this time
I am not convinced.
Some of you that were subscribed last February may remember a post from a
man that was looking for women companionship. Ring any bells yet?? As a
matter of fact,, his message to the GML back in February has pretty much the
same wording as his webpage. Sounds like someone trolling for young woman to
me.
I do hope everyone listens,, I'm a bit older than many of the GML female
members, I wouldn't want any of you to be lured into something that isn't
right. Don't be fooled,, there is nothing wrong with be cautious,,
remember,, I am talking about your safety which is more important than
anyone you meet on the internet.
Please be careful out there.
