He's a nutmeg. Actually, He looks too light to be a nutmeg. Agoutis have
white stomachs. For those of you that don't have Agoutis, An Agouti is the
color of a wild cottontail. I have pictures of my Agouti gerbil and my 2
Agouti rabbits if anyone cares to see them. The gerbil pictures show both
the white stomach and the top fur color well.

Rabbits never were and never will be. It has to do with their teeth. They are
lagomorphs.Also(this don't have anything to do with the family), most rodents
will eat meat and rabbits won't. Actually, I don't even think that rabbits(or
ferrets) should be considered small animals because of the major care they
require. But I'll shut up now. -Molly
