The list sure is quiet today, for a change!
I am writing to ask what is the longest post-litter pregnancy everyone has had for a mother's 2nd, 3rd, 4th, etc... litter?
I know in the Gerbil FAQ it says the next pregnancy is delayed so that the first litter is mostly weaned, but it isn't more specific than that.
My DEH Ginger went 38 days in-between her first and second litter.
Now, I'm waiting on my nutmeg Nibbler. She's at day 38 today, and she doesn't even look all that big. (She has been acting REALLY strange lately. She has chewed up 3 water bottles in the past week, and I constantly find her "jumping" towards the top of the screen like she's trying to get out. I give her plenty of paper towel and toilet paper tubes to chew on every day! Why is she acting so strange?)
I guess I'm just wondering if anyone else "keeps track" of this type of thing, and what's the longest anyone had to wait for the next litter!
