However, I am not trained in medicine.

So far I have not had many gerbil pups or deaths where
I was able to retrieve enough of the pup to do anything
with it other than throw it.

I know, baby death is the hardest to figure out, period.
I try to share what I do know when I can with the rest of
the forum; and I will continue to do so.

As for a harder core technical based medical information
site, I would feel much better if someone with proper
medical training, skills, and knowledge were to undertake
such a thing.  It is something sorely lacking in our hobby,
and greatly needed.
