Donna - It might be best to keep a favorite male pup with the father,
and to return the mother and pups to you.
Also hands are not to be placed in the tank while changing water,
filling food bowl, scooping litter out, without distracting the mother
first. ( papertowel tube, treat, crumpled up paper, etc..) Knowing that
she bit before, her owners would be nervous and might make jerky hand
movements, making them prone to getting bitten again.
