Ann-Marie L. Roberts,
I have decided to make this GERBIL CLUB a public community. It will be
available in a week or 2. I'm still adding more features too it. There have
been many people from the GML telling me that they wanna join up with the
new club I have formed. And it will be announce on the GML list very soon.
O.k., fine. I'll tell you how I took care of my GERBILS ok. I feed my gerbil
sunflower seeds, crab chips, and gerbil food called BONANZA made by HARTZ,
plus other food I make and create for my GERBIL. I also add a few drops of
my human blood to the gerbil food, otherwise my GERBIL wont eat its food.
All my gerbil recipes are home made that create by myself and I have no name
for the recipes. The bedding I use are KAYTEE FRESH NATURAL ASPEN BEDDING
AND LITTER. Here are the housing arrangements: I have a 10 gallon tank with
a cigar box in it that the GERBIL likes to open and close and sleeps and
plays in. It also has a water bottle and a steel wheel to fun in. My gerbil
sleeps all day and is awake from 12am till 6am, so that's its play time. My
gerbil is creme colored and it has deep red eyes. It is a male and its name
is GERBY. I have to mention that my gerbil is wild and has never been
touched by any kind of human skin before. Because when I handle them I wear
thick gloves and when they were babies I wore gloves when I handle them. So
they will attack any humans that come near them or any kind of other animals
except other gerbils. I am a very experienced gerbil keeper and yes I do
have a gerbil website. But I will not give out the web address because I do
not trust anyone because I don't want my website being destroyed by people
or hackers.
Thank you,
Doug Swanson
