Hi all,
I have two questions:
1.) I have a male gerbil that is getting very fat. At this time he is
housed with his mate, and their pups. Because she needs the extra nutrition
while pregnant and nursing I am not able to cut back on the tank food.
Is there any thing I can do to help him lose weight? Probably not.
2.) I have two litters of pups. One litter was born on June 29th and the
other on July 5th. I will be taking the older litter out of the family tank
this weekend. They are currently five weeks old. I will be taking the
younger litter out next weekend when they are five weeks old. I plan on
keeping the pups for several weeks to make sure they adjust well.
Can I place two separate litters in the same 33 gallon tank? (6 and 5 weeks
old)
I do know that this was covered briefly a while ago, but I want to clarify
before moving the pups.
