Like most people I have mixed feeling about Mr. Swanson. But let's get a
grip on ourselves.
Once again, for everyone's sake -- please do NOT
** Reply to Mr. Swanson in GML, because that annoys everyone else and
fires Mr. Swanson up
** Talk about Mr. Swanson, because it provokes him
** Email with Mr. Swanson because it might bring you danger, though I
can't tell
I realize I've just violated my own suggestions. But some of you GML
members are playing with fire IMHO.
I don't know much about Mr. Swanson except what he writes. I have no
reason to believe everything he says, nor to disbelieve it.
All Internet advice says to STOP REPLYING. It's related distantly to the
old Irish use of boycott. Even today among Pennsylvania Dutch Amish and
Mennonites one of the worst punishments is shunning.
To keep this on topic: Gerbils know how to deal with problem members of
the community.
