I was wondering if a few or more of you could give me some clearer
definintions on some colors i have seen or own. Many definitions on the
color palette sound similiar OR i cannot track down a well shot picture for
me to tell! Perhaps someone can show me some better links or tell by my
description just what these wee beasties may be! LOL
1. I have a BEW which came with a Siamese ( I assume the same litter but
could be wrong....) I am pretty sure the breeder was breeding only siamese
and burmese so I ran the gene predictor and it seems it is probably a Color
Point Slate! His body is just the faintest tinge off white.....pretty
grey tail and face points. He is 7-8wks old and just starting, it seems.
to get a faint tan line or moult starting after the dark points on his nose.
REal small change tho. Dark eyes, yes. I was wondering if this
sounded like it could be slate? Do they all start out BEW? Will i not know
for sure for a month or two? Also, a related question, to get more color
points, would a mating with an argente cream be a good idea?
2. I have a light cream pup, white belly red eyes, who has the faintest grey
hairs mixed in all down her back. I thought maybe it was fox or
nutmeg...the descriptions sound very similiar! I was wonder if
blue/yellow and polar fox could all look the same?
3. I have this beautiful pied golden agouti...what is a good color to mate
her too? Thank you so much!
