My DEH, Linsee, is turning out odd. His undercoat is about the
color that a true DEH should look like, but the top coat is a
very light, cinnamony color. The undercoat shows through easily
so it looks like he's a white/cinnamon/brown striped gerbil. It's
peculiar. He started out, when he was young, looking just like
regular DEHs. Then he went through a molting process where the
light color came in, leaving patched of DEH on his head, base of
the tail, etc. and now it's just all one color. I was thinking
LDEH, but he looks quite different in coloring than my old LCEH
pied.
