Hi all !So now there are 4 of them (she needed between 8 - 10 hours to
deliver them all) !
Although she feeds and cleans them regulary she digs like never before -
leaving them alone for hours ...
But it is pretty much hot here so I guess they're gonna be o.k. ...
For those who want to know their story ...
Maggie lost her partner (Bart) about 3 months ago . We tried to give her new
one (joung Otto) but she aggressively refused him . We kept him with another
young girl (Laureen) .
About month and a half ago we put Otto and Maggie on the table (without
split cage)
and they both started thumping (not "danger" but "excitment") !
We left them alone for a few moments Maggie wanted him to mount her but he
wasn't that interested .
We did it again a week or two after and they mated ... And pups are here !
Otto still lives with his Laureen (they don't mate yet she is a few weeks
younger than him) .
This is the best thing that could happen while we wanted to give someone to
Maggie and now we'll leave her with one of her pups (daugther) !
We hope that they'll all survive !!!
