Hi everyone, I am always overworried about our gerbils and our cats and my parents and sisters always chaff me with it. But now, because I've read that gerbil coat is a good parameter for the health, I thought I'd better ask this one. Defenetly,after I read what happend to Paiges gerbil Laine and his reference to their fluffy fur. My gerbils have both a fluffy fur. They are 21 weeks old, so they aren't youngsters anymore. I read that this could be because of a to high humidity, which is 62% for the moment, if that means anything for anyone. They had this once before, but it was because I forgot to give them water for a day or 2. I know, I could have killed meself! But when they had water, their furs became normal again. Could this have anything to do with the bedding? I don't know which kind of bedding I use for the moment, 'cause in Belgium it doesn't say so on the packing. ( I use "Sluis Bedding" for the moment.) For the rest they look healthy, are happy, eat, drink, play, wash, are so sweet (as always!)! Could anyone help me with this? THANKS (I so hope it's nothing!)
