Hi all, I'm finally getting around to announcing the arrival of three
new family members. . .

Almost 2 weeks ago now, I traveled to Beaumont to meet Evon and take in
some of her gerbs. I headed home with a female trio, consisting of two
slate spots and a golden agouti pied. I'd never had any pied or spotted
gerbils before, so this was exciting!

One of the slate spots is a runt and the youngest of the three, so her
name is Baby. She was skittish at first but she's gotten a lot
friendlier. She monopolizes the wheel; I don't think I've seen either
of the others in it! The other slate spot seemed to be the boldest of
the three, so she's Bossy. The golden agouti pied is Goldie.

I think these three are the friendliest gerbs I've ever had. It has
been many years since I've had any female gerbils! I was a little
concerned about keeping three females together, but Baby was being
picked on by her littermates and had been isolated. Evon put her in
with the established (still young) pair, and they took her in. So of
course I just HAD to take all three of them. :) They get along really
well.
