HeeHeeHee! There's your problem! If you put something new in a gerbil
cage, that's guaranteed to keep those rodents up all night enjoying their
new toy! Try removing all the interesting stuff at night. Remove that
squeaky wheel and the wooden house that get clanged against the wall at
night. Remove the boxes that get nibbled on during the wee hours of the
night. Plain tissue paper can provide a gerbil a nighttime of entertainment
and make very little noise. Just remember to return all toys and wheels and
boxes during the day to keep the gerbils occupied.

>Is there a way I can put them on our sleep pattern?

Try to keep them awake as much as possible during the day. Feed them in the
morning since feeding time is often followed by a play period.

Good Luck!
